back between the concrete, to give you - with the sponsorship of Melzo - a new film festival
weekly with effect (as had already been in the spring to our previous review: "A certain tendency of Italian cinema").

With the approach of autumn, then return to peep c / o Palace Trivulzio evening screenings of the film circle Q Cinema. Strong previous experience gained with the help of some new trick in more, and valuable advice giuntici our affiliates, we are delighted to bring to your attention a new amazing saga of world cinema: RED DRAMA .

belong to a community media in which even the most intimate details of the most terrible crimes are described in detail and their players are constantly placed in the spotlight, "represented" in sterile packages and reassuring television and repeatedly manipulated and exploited to increase sales and profits of any goods or services advertised.

QCinema wanted to dedicate a film festival ( DRAMA RED) to the representation of violence gave another mass medium (the first), and the most democratic of art forms : cinema.

Our proposal is a review five of five films by five directors of different nationalities (tiè!), covering sixty years of history and the history of cinema, each belonging to a different decade and offering five diverse interpretations of the element in violence they represent ( plus the bonus film, the inevitable "Clockwork Orange").

Of the 3 films Kubrick which can be considered science fiction is the most violent and when it speaks more of this, just loaded with connotations future. Like the other two, is a philosophical tale that demonstrates with brilliant clarity his discourse on violence and the relationship between instinct and society even though he, despite his obvious effort grotesque stylization, it has escaped the hazards of the cinema illustration of the violence. Ingenious use of the overture of Rossini's Gazza thief (1817), arranged by Walter Carlos and Elkind Tachel. Alex's voice (M. McDowell) is Adalberto Maria Merli.

film as Boksuneun naui goethite (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance) of 2002 makes you rediscover, looking away from the bloody events that represents the moral dimension that any portrayal of violence would imply. We are not impartial investigation by the parties that if they wash their hands: instead, the second film in Park (the first of the so-called "vengeance trilogy", carried out with the Old Boy and Lady Vengeance concluded by you dirty sneak in the depths of the psychology and actions of his characters.

Ryu is a penniless deaf workers who try to save his sister you remove a kidney from some despicable trafficking in organs. His body is incompatible with the malfunctioning of the girl, but the traffickers have promised to find a good in exchange for his and a lot of money. The worker is not much choice to save his sister, and decides to kidnap the daughter of his former boss, Park, then groped for the regular transplant. This is the first sequence, the one describing the character of the commissioner of police loyal to the moral, hard, in no uncertain terms, the Commissioner Azuma embodies respect for the code. A deranged killer in the pay of a wealthy drug dealer in the city, however, begins to claim victims. The investigations lead the police to highlight specific links between the team of narcotics and the criminal group. With the intensification of the investigation increases the number of victims. The ruthless killer decides to resolve the matter personally, especially after his head was directly accused by Mr Azuma. The killer is kidnapping the sister of this woman alone and with psychological problems. Azuma, who meanwhile was driven by the department, decided to revenge himself. Claustrophobic nightmare on-the-road, this title marks a decisive turn toward realism by the most celebrated of the Italian horror master Mario Bava. Little known at home because it published two decades after construction, the work looks like a concentrate of raw violence, twists and fierce bastardy: Cast cocktail entertainment can make money at the time as to inspire the greatest exponents the prolific trend / bandwagon of modern pulp. Needless to point out how embarrassing the similarities between "Rabid Dogs" (the title English) and "Reservoir Dogs" (Le Iene ) of Tarantino, which can be considered a good reason an inspired and ironic remake of Bava.

Four thugs rob a bank, but something goes wrong, the police intervened and one of them is killed. The three remaining somehow manages to escape by car with the loot and to take hostage a man, a child and a woman. The gang members called each other by nicknames: "the doctor" is the brains of the group as "scalpel", an expert on knives, and "32", a direct competitor of the legendary John Holmes as a centimetraggio are killers from low butcher.
Rabid Dogs is hard to digest, the limit of tolerable vulgar, dirty and sweaty as the protagonists, mad dogs and hungry. The title, sinking his hands nell'improponibile, offers entertainment unhealthy but effective rhythms and sequences, care articulated by the cinema of Light, which is not denied to express themselves without inhibitions whatsoever. Contemptuous, disturbing, sometimes unbearable portrait of the deepest chasms of human basezza, but also thrilling masterpiece of the genre.
