Of the 3 films Kubrick which can be considered science fiction is the most violent and when it speaks more of this, just loaded with connotations future. Like the other two, is a philosophical tale that demonstrates with brilliant clarity his discourse on violence and the relationship between instinct and society even though he, despite his obvious effort grotesque stylization, it has escaped the hazards of the cinema illustration of the violence. Ingenious use of the overture of Rossini's Gazza thief (1817), arranged by Walter Carlos and Elkind Tachel. Alex's voice (M. McDowell) is Adalberto Maria Merli.
